Support

We're here to help

Have Another Cherry exists to make sharing expenses sweeter, and that doesn't stop at the app. If something is in the way, we'll do whatever we can to fix it: a bug, a math problem, a tense conversation about who paid for what, or anything in between.

There's no ticket queue and no bot. When you write in, you're talking to the founder and the developer who built the thing, and every message gets read. Use the form below or email help@haveanothercherry.com directly. Either way it lands in the same inbox.

How to get support

Three steps, and the more detail the better

The fastest fix comes from a message we can act on without writing back for more. Here's what helps us most.

  1. Check the common questions first Most of what people write in about is answered a little further down this page. If your answer's there, you're done in a minute.
  2. Tell us what you expected and what happened instead Which group, which screen, and what you tapped. A screenshot helps a lot, and the numbers in it are your business, so cover anything you'd rather we didn't see.
  3. Send it from the email on your account Write in through the form below or straight to help@haveanothercherry.com. Using the address you signed up with lets us find your account without asking for more.

Common questions

Things people ask us about

A split doesn't add up, or someone's share looks wrong

Every shared cost stays its own line, so a wrong number can always be traced to a specific expense. Open the expense, check the ratio applied to it and who's marked as the payer, and if it still looks off, send us the group name and which expense it is. We'll walk the arithmetic with you and fix anything on our side.

Something's broken or won't load

Have Another Cherry is new, so you might meet a rough edge before we do. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead, plus the device and browser you were on. If you can reproduce it, the steps to do that are the single most useful thing you can send.

Someone paid with a card and was paid back in cash

That's a case the app is built for. How an expense was paid is recorded alongside the expense itself, so paying on credit and paying in cash aren't treated as the same thing. If a settlement isn't clearing the lines you expected it to, write in with the expense and the payment and we'll sort it out.

We're not arguing about the numbers, we're arguing about each other

We can't sit at your kitchen table, but we can help you find what a disagreement is actually about. The ledger shows which expenses a payment closed and which are still open, so nobody has to argue from memory. The free financial interaction style assessment names the differences in how each person treats money, and the blog covers the conversations themselves. If you'd like a hand reading your own group's history, ask.

I can't sign in

Start at the sign in page and request a password reset there. If the reset email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then write in from the address you signed up with. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away, as the Terms ask.

How do I add the people I share with?

Invite everyone by email and a private group code. Sharing one thing with someone outside the household? You can add a person to a single expense without adding them to everything. If an invite hasn't arrived, the spam folder is the usual culprit, and we can resend it.

Is it really free? What does Cherry + add?

The free plan is the whole splitter, not a trial of it: unlimited expenses, AI receipt scanning, recurring bills, no ads, no daily limits. Cherry + is the planning and insight layer on top, billed per person, and it arrives with the iOS and Android apps. The full comparison is on the features page.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

Yes, both. The iPhone app is on the App Store and the Android app is on Google Play. Once either is installed, any haveanothercherry.com/open link opens straight into the app. Everything on the features page is also live on the web at app.haveanothercherry.com, and it works in a phone browser.

How is my data handled?

Ledger data is encrypted, your email address is the only contact information we keep, nothing is sold or shared beyond our service providers, and there are no ads in the ledger. The Privacy Policy has the full detail, including how to ask for a copy of your data. To delete your data, or your whole account, use the account section further down this page: it takes a minute and you don't need to write in.

I have an idea, not a problem

Send it. We're a founder and a developer, and the roadmap is still being decided, so a clear description of what you wish existed and why has a real chance of changing what we build next. Early users see new features while there's still time to change our minds about how they work.

Write to us

Tell us what's going on

This goes to help@haveanothercherry.com. Say as much as you like, long messages are welcome. You don't need to include amounts unless they're the point of the question.

Prefer your own email client? help@haveanothercherry.com

We'll only use your email to reply. Nothing is sold or shared. See the Privacy Policy.

Your account

Delete your data, or your whole account

Either one is yours to do, right here, without writing in. Sign in to confirm it's you, choose what to remove, and confirm. Nothing is removed until you've said so twice.

Can't sign in any more? Write to us from the address on your account and we'll take care of it by hand. The Privacy Policy says what happens to your data either way.

Two options, and you'll pick one on the next step: clear the data tied to your account and keep your sign-in, or delete the account altogether.

Ready when you are

Have Another Cherry is live and free to use. Start a household, agree on the ratio, and log the first shared cost.
